Producing On-Brand Work at Scale — Across Products, Languages, and Channels

How Rare Standard built a template system and governance that let a global creative-software brand produce on-brand work at scale across products, languages, and channels.

Client

A global creative-software company operating across Japan and Asia

Engagement

Project + advisory + ongoing brand check

Designer workstation running creative software

A global creative-software company produces branded work across many products, teams, languages, and channels at once, and every piece is a chance for the brand to drift. We built the operating system that keeps output on-brand at that scale: a master template system for presentations and design tools, rolled out across products, languages, and channels; localized brand guidelines and a reference chart book; an ongoing brand check that catches drift before it ships; hands-on workshops; and a governance framework for keeping AI-generated content on-brand. The result is on-brand output at scale with no single bottleneck. Teams start on-brand by default instead of designing from scratch and correcting later.

Snapshot

For a brand held to a high bar by the very tools it sells, consistency across a sprawling organization isn’t a design problem. It’s a systems problem.

Industry: global creative software · Market: Japan and Asia (global brand, regional execution) · Engagement: project + advisory + ongoing brand check · Scope: master template system, localized guidelines and chart book, brand check and guardianship, workshops, Gen-AI brand guidelines · Reach: every product, multiple languages, multiple channels.

The business situation

The brand was rigorous and highly visible, and it was produced at volume by many teams and partners across the region. At that scale, “on-brand” cannot depend on individual reviewers or one-off design work. Without a system, every asset restarts from zero, correction rounds multiply, and consistency degrades exactly as output grows.

Requests came in as individual assets, decks, and templates. The underlying need was a reusable, governed system that lets dozens of teams produce on-brand work by default, plus a way to catch drift before it reaches the market rather than after. At this scale, the highest-leverage work is not the next deliverable. It is the template system and governance that make every future deliverable faster and safer.
