Job Overview
The Project Manager will be at the heart of RS’s operations, navigating complex projects with authority and precision. As a key player, you’ll manage timelines, balance priorities, and ensure seamless collaboration across creative, technical, and account teams. This role is ideal for someone who understands that project management is a creative and strategic challenge—not just a checklist.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership: Oversee end-to-end project management from planning to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Priority Management: Continuously evaluate and re-prioritize tasks to meet dynamic client and team needs.
Communication Cadence: Maintain predictable and clear communication with all stakeholders (creative teams, clients, and account managers).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the glue between departments, ensuring smooth handoffs, conflict resolution, and effective resource allocation.
Client Relationship: Work closely with account managers to manage client expectations and maintain satisfaction without over-promising or compromising team health.
Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet RS’s high standards while keeping profitability in check.
Qualifications
Experience: 1-2 years of experience managing digital, creative, or technical projects in an agency or similar environment.
Natural Authority: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams without the need of formal titles.
Decisiveness: Quick decision-making under pressure, especially when sorting signals from noise.
Self-Awareness: Recognize your strengths and weaknesses and seek continuous improvement.
Agility: Experience in juggling shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
Technical/Tool Knowledge: Proficiency in project management tools (Notion, Asana, Trello, etc.) and communication platforms (Slack, Teams).
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills in Japanese
