Job Overview

The Brand Director will lead the RS team, focusing on delivering high-quality, efficient brand solutions that effectively integrate into our clients’ operational needs. This role is perfect for a Creative or Design Director with a strong brand design background and who is passionate about building systems and leading creative teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Strategy: Lead brand strategy engagements (workshops, consulting, planning) and build operationally effective systems that align with scaling brand operation needs of the client.

• Creative Leadership: Provide creative oversight across all client projects, ensuring a cohesive and innovative aesthetic that aligns with client’s brand goals.

• Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of creative professionals, fostering an environment of creativity and growth.

• Quality Control: Ensure all creative outputs meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

• Subject Matter Expert: Work closely with the creative account manager and account team to ensure a unified approach to client needs as well as be the provider of answers for client inquiries.

Qualifications

• Highly experienced as an Creative Director or Design Director, preferably within a branding or creative agency.

• Strong portfolio of well known brands showcasing a wide range of design & brand systems and creative executions.

• Excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring creative teams.

• Deep understanding of brand development, graphic design, and industry trends.

• Strong presentation and organizational skills.

• Native or Professional Japanese

• Casual English (interested in learning more!)
